Re: the cat sitter

Tell me if you think this is grounds for dismissal.

We enter the house after vacation to find a pile of cat puke on the new carpet and the radio on. It was my bedside clock-radio, mind you, which she futzed with to switch to the local "lite" station.

In the nearly incomprehensible little notes she leaves, she tells us that not only has she subjected our cat to "lots of love time" -- huh? -- but that we need to throw out our Iams cat food because it causes cancer. She wasn't even supposed to feed him the Iams.

Actually, the part that bothers me the most about this whole exchange is that I got woken up by a bleating Celine Dion this morning.
