The Ongoing Adventures of "Crazy Legs" Dundee

OK, so we've really been slacking lately on the blog. Work and baseball season have really just taken up too much of our time. So, in an attempt to save face with our relatives, and keep them up to date with news of the infant, here's a rapidly thrown together synopsis of the past few weeks.

So much to cover, including...
  • Colin's trip to Uncle Scott's house in Indy
What a long, strange trip it was. Crazy Legs' longest trip in the carseat was a bit rocky at times but ultimately he had a great time, rollicking in the sun and spending time with Grandparents McBride, Uncles John and Scott, Aunt Erica and Cousin Biff. However, some ugliness came out of it...
  • JellyGate
The scandal to beat all scandals; an utter disruption of Colin's feeding pattern. It all happened so fast. I recall there was a hyperactive baby. A jelly-coated spoon was involved. And ever since then Colin refuses to eat his veggies. Main suspects in the fiasco include G. Gordon Liddy, John Ehrlichman and the aforementioned "Uncle Scott".

Last but not least, there was
  • Colin's baptism
Becky, Jeff and their son Ben all made the trip (as did the grandparents and Aunt Michele) to witness Colin getting doused by very chilly water. And although he was a bit under the weather, a bit tired, and most likely very hungry, he was a very good baby throughout. You can see pictures in the latest Flickr fotoset, which chronicles all of March and April.

And so much more! Some of which I don't even recall! The days and weeks are flying by, and we really need to do a better job of keeping up with this blog. It's just that we get wrapped up in our lives, and neglect reporting the details here. But, we'll recommit ourselves to the task at hand.

He's currently sleeping soundly about 5 feet away. We'll let you know of any breaking developments.
